 Subject:  req DHCP static mapping
 Date:  Fri, 11 Jun 2004 16:58:30 +0200

On my current dhcp setup(freebsd box with ISC dhcpd) I have two static mappings against the same ip
address(two different MAC's), this to give my powerbook the same ip address for the wired ethernet
and airport card.

This works pretty good and let me "roam" between wired and wireless networks(and still keep my ssh
connections up:)

But when I try to configure the m0n0wall the same way the webinterface produces a error saying "This
IP or Mac address already exists".

Could this error be replaced with an just a warning since dhcpd don't have any problems with this as
far as I know - or is this a limitation in the XML config/rest of the system?

Best regards,
