I had thoughts on a feature that would serve your purpose, plus the
purpose for which I originally wanted it.

A "notes" field linked somewhere.  I install m0n0wall at dozens of
different companies, and I'm not the best at keeping track of ISP info
and other short details about that particular setup.  If there was a
notes field, I could type in all that info at install and never have
to worry about forgetting it.   Seems like this would also solve your
problem even better than a "config name" field would, since you could
enter details in the Notes field.
