My first interpretation of the survey result:

User base:
- 50% of the users are SOHO / Home (one m0n0wall in use and 2-9 users)
- almost 20% are enterprise-class users (4 to 10 m0n0wall in use and 
30-250 users)

Platform:
- 30% embedded platform (133 and 266 MHz CPU)
- 70% PC
*** the total of the platform question is 135% ??? ***

Wireless:
- 25% have wireless integrated
- 20% cannot live without
- 20% don't care about wireless

Image-Media:
- CF is a must

Image-Type:
- modularity is wished

Features:
- VPN is hipe

Core Language:
- PHP, C and C++ are candidates

GUI:
- PHP and AJAX seems to be preferred

Development:
- although 23% are professional programmers only 4% contributed code !!!
- tree based system is a must
- separation of core and GUI is wished
- 41% are for a complete redesign !!!
