Very interesting!

More people would contribute if it were Linux than anything else?? 
People obviously still have this stigma that the BSD's are some odd,
obscure systems.

All in all, I don't really think any of the rest of it surprises me. 
It's good to see the results though.  Seems that the majority answered
long the same lines as me (my top 3 features are the top 3 overall
too, and similar in other areas as well).

My only remaining question is - Manuel, what do you think?  The
founder of the project is the only one that hasn't come out and stated
a long, drawn out opinion, but rather mostly only with things to
stimulate conversation.  That was certainly the best approach until
everybody else got out their opinion, now I think we should hear what
Manuel is thinking at this point.  :)
