Does racoon ever seem to grow large before it dies? You'd probably be better
off asking the KAME people (http://www.kame.net/) about this, if so. The
freebsd-questions list would probably also be a good bet if you don't get any
answers here or there.
But, as far as your question goes, it's hard to even guess at an answer
without knowing how much ram you have and what other processes you're running.
As you should know, if you're posting on this list, m0n0wall does not allocate
any disk space for swap, since it's primarilly meant to run on
read-only/write-rarely media (swapping to a CF card is dangerous, and slow).
