Full Feature list:
Captive Portal Element Manager
Allows web pages elements (images, js files, css files, and even additional
.htm files) to be uploaded via the webGui and served directly from Monowall.
This can greatly enhance the Captive Portal login page without requiring an
additional web server. Now parses background images, too.
Captive Portal: Disable Concurrent Logins
With standard versions of Monowall, the same user could pass their username
and password to friends. This modification adds a Checkbox which will only
allow one user using the same username and password through the Captive
Portal at a time. If another machine logs in with the same username, they
will be allowed access and the previous user's access will be revoked. This
activity is logged.
Captive Portal: Local User Logging
In addition to the standard logging in Monowall, this version logs the
creation, deletion, and even each edit for local captive portal users.
Sub Administrators w/ Groups
Allows the creation of webGui admin groups. Each group can be assigned
permissions to view individual pages in the webGui. A local user database
allows users to be added, with each user tied to a particular admin group.
If a group is renamed, all users that are members of that group will be
appropriately reassigned. Groups with users defined can not be deleted.
Sub Administrator Password Maintanence
Allows sub-admins to manage their own password to the webGui.
This version of Monowall has a completely dynamic menu structure. In the
case of the left pane, only items are displayed that the user has access to
view. Tabbed pages (such as the Logs pages) similarly only show the tabs
that are visible to the user's group permission.
This version of Monowall includes an SSH server which can be enabled via the
Advanced menu. To enhance security, our implementation requires setting
Authorized SSH keys. Previously, we only supported SCP, but new to this
version is SFTP support.
