Andrew (I think?) pointed out to me that most recent Intel adapters do
support MDIX...
In searching through the list, in January someone stated that the PRO/1000
MT and GT adapters weren't supported by Monowall. Has this support been
added in 1.2?

Subject: [m0n0wall-dev] Recommendations for NICs with Auto-MDIX
Does anyone have any recommendations for a NIC that works with
Monowall that supports Auto-MDIX? I have a U.S. Robotics NIC that
supports MDIX, but it's based on the Realtek RTL8169S chip, and I've
heard bad things about Realtek on this list... That, and Monowall
doesn't recognize it... They do have a driver but it appears that
support for it would have to be compiled into the kernel, which I
would rather avoid, especially since the stability of the driver is
unknown.
I've seen Intel recommendations on the list before, but I'm unable to
find an Intel with Auto-MDIX support on their website...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
