according to the em(4) man page on FreeBSD 5.x and 6.x, that is a
supported chipset (I've yet to see an Intel PRO/1000 chipset that
isn't supported by the em driver).

But... the FreeBSD 4 em(4) man page does *not* list 82541PI.  Doesn't
necessarily mean it isn't supported (they might have overlooked it),
but it appears 4.x's em driver might be lagging behind the one in 5.x
and 6.x now.
