i'll check the FreeBSD PR database, but was only planning on merging in the
6.1-RELEASE kernel and binaries when 6.1 is fully released. there's a ports
freeze and commit freeeze now, iianm, as they prepare for the release.

agreed, those are my plans, along with a couple of trivial but helpful new
features, prime among them the ability to select serial console or vga
consoles from the web UI. this little feature can be easily backported to
1.2 as well.
