I would use Mbytes. I don't see the point in using Kbytes as they would be used up far too quickly.
Sites today are content intensive and anybody running a cpative portal with quotas shouls have DSL
or Cable so KBytes shouldn't even be a concern.

Subject: [m0n0wall-dev] Volume limits - Size?

I'm implementing volume limits for the captive portal but I have a
question:

What should be the size the volume is in? Kbytes/Mbytes?

The freebsd internal counter is bytes but the radius reply attribute
limit can't handle this value (32bit instead the 64bit ipfw counter) so
I probably need some kind of conversion.

I would prefer Mbytes but I'm not sure if anybody wants to use a smaller
value

J.
