First off many apologies for this completely off-topic request, its just that
I know that quite a few native French speakers tune into this list.....
My wife (who is a professional translator) is doing a translation of a
security policy and we are both stumped on a couple of terms that come up
regularly. They are 'poste nomade' and 'poste portable' and appear in
phrases like "l'usager mobile ou nomade" and "le nomadisme".
Could some kind soul please explain what these actually mean?
Thanks (or should I say merci beaucoup :-)
Peter
