 Subject:  PXE booting WRAP
 Date:  Fri, 28 Jul 2006 20:40:09 +0800
Hello,

Has anyone mastered this feat with PC Engines WRAP hardware?

I have a Voyage Linux (Debian) kernel booting from Etherboot to PXELinux to
vmlinuz, but whatever combination I try for FreeBSD 6.1 I end up with
hanging. Hanging after the pxeboot loader has started, or hanging after
Etherboot has loaded the FreeBSD kernel. It seems a lot easier to boot
Soekris boxes, with documentation included in m0n0:

http://doc.m0n0.ch/dev/dev-pxe.html

I have a thread I am updating with progress on the pfSense forums:
http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,1728.0.html I also posted on the
rather quiet freebsd-embedded list as some comments suggest it has worked.
