Well but the point of the forum is that you (or should I say I, as a user
[mostly]) can subscribe to threats that im particularly interested, and as
forum leader you are subscribed to all of them and you still can relpy to
posts via email...

That would make for a poor mailing list, which is what I, and several other
devs prefer. I kane name a few lists that went forum, and I no longer
participate much, if at all. There is only one forum I am regular at, and
it is only twice a week or so. The list I may respond to 10 times in one
day, if I have time and intrest. At the least, I am in it daily. (even on
