Ok, my brain gas short operative memory and this email has too many topics
in it now.
1) gcc (c++ compiler) needed to compile lm_sensor.h i2c.h files so I can
communicate with my LCD (I have no idea if I need libraries or not)
2) I do dev on either separate machine or in VMWare or directly on wrap
(only small edits). So big dev image shouldn't be a problem
3)" svn is client/server system like cvs. It tranfers files from a to b. It"
Good thing where would it transfer files to? My server that I can donate is
storage server only. I can talk to provider to see if they can add svn but
my guess that they will refuse. I might put local server on my own but only
when we release our miniServer hardware so I can test hardware and not eat
rack space.
4) "The image I (Rick, Eddy, me) have made has ssh and svn client"..
I can use that image for now too, just can progress w/ LCD
5) "Great! Could it run freebsd 6.x? There man could build images custom
kernels, security updates, etc etc."
-As motioned above, I got only storage space.
DID I MISS SOMETHING?

Do you need only a c++ complier or also al the libs?
In the fist case I could make a freebsd package which could be installed
on the cf.
In the last case I would recommend a mini freebsd installation (or
nanobsd) or cf or disk.

svn is client/server system like cvs. It tranfers files from a to b. It
gives you version control and practicaly opens up collaboration between
people. Because more people can work at the same code/project without the
chance of destroying eachothers work.
IHMO should the of monowall be in a public place (from build scripts to
end applications.)
The image I (Rick, Eddy, me) have made has ssh and svn client. That could
be an easy start because get/delete/sync files with a remote svn server.

For dev you could pug a laptop disk in net4801 or use a wrap with a cf
image and a disk for storage attached to usb1.0 interface. Personally do
Dev on my laptop and sync (svn/rsync) to the cf tne wrap/soekris.

aye.

Great! Could it run freebsd 6.x? There man could build images custom
kernels, security updates, etc etc. If so am willing to help to setup a
dev inviorment.
kind regards,
