Well user base would split but knowledge base would be the same, it just
people would have an option of using what they like and still get same
responses.

Personally, I think without this feature, the userbase would get split,
Chris has already said he wouldn't visit the forums so all of his knowledge
would go untapped for forum users. I can understand if Chris and Manuel
don't want to take on the project but if Alex and Imran can do it and it
works ok, I see no reason to not to use it.
