Hi Knut,

I'm from Germany, and my milk language isn't English, either. However, this
is the monowall-dev list, not the apologize-about-language list, so let's
get straight to the point instead ;-)

This would be the task of an additional piece of software (probably running
on separeate hardware): a Radius server. The m0n0wall would, upon logon of
an account, send the account information to the Radius server which, in
turn, would reply with an "okay" (or "not okay") and (optionally) a session
time limit. The m0n0wall would then allow (or deny) access yia the Captive
portal to the customer (or unwanted intruder).

I vaguely seem to remember that WinRadius has some soft ot billing/accouting
thingy built-in. It can be downloaded somewhere at
http://www.itconsult2000.com/ and it's free for up to 5 users, if my memory
serves me right.

Other Radius servers which may fit the bill as well exist as well.

Best regards, Klaus
