Hello,

I've started translating the most important documents from our (=
Daniel Spörri's and my) term paper into English; the architecture
document is already finished and available here:

There may be some German grammar remnants and general sub-optimal
English in there, but it'll have to do. :) Also, that document is now
already a few months old and a few ideas have changed in our minds,
but the basic concepts are still the same.

On a related note, work on refactoring the core from the
proof-of-concept implementation and using it to make a
fully-functional product (not m0n0wall though) as part of our diploma
thesis will start next week and last for two months (full time), so
if you have any suggestions or ideas on the
architecture/design/implementation, let us know as soon as possible,
so that they can be considered.

This also means that I might have to neglect 1.3b a little longer,
but I'll do my best.
