Ive been encountering a weird problem with this build,  Using Captive Portal
and 400mw Atheros card on a wrap 1E (233Mhz 128MB RAM), what happens is that
sporadically no users can login to the system even though they can
associate, there is a weird error though when u login to the captive portal
status page with an ipfw error message.

 

I must say though that the unit is pretty heavily utilized ~30 - 40 Captive
Portal Users at any one time each capped to ~150k/50k (radius auth) with
typical bandwidth usage being about 1.5Mbps , however a reboot fixes the
problem just fine.
