Hi Manuel,
I recalled that this idea has been posted and presented in the list a
year before (or longer), and I thought the project was dead... But I
am excited that I can see the PoC now!
I am not a user of m0n0wall, but from a Linux community. The project
(Voyage) I worked on faces the similar problem, and does not have
webgui either. I have been wanting to add webgui-like feature, but
don't find right candidates at the moment that completely fulfill my
requirements. You can find the description, goals and objectives for
Project Dynamite:
http://linux.voyage.hk/?q=project_dynamite
(This project is intended for Google Summer of Code 2007, but our
application failed.)
What I really want is a core front-end and back-end engine that is
completely extensible and OS independent so that it could also support
Linux, MacOSX, etc. in architectural sense. And I believe the PoC
matches 70-80% of my requirements.
I just download the code for offline reading and will post my comment
in the next few days.
Regards,
Punky
