It's the version of hostapd that comes with FreeBSD 6.2, with the  
following patch applied to it:

http://svn.m0n0.ch/wall/branches/freebsd6/build/patches/user/ 
hostapd.patch

No special compilation flags are used; just a simple 'make' in /usr/ 
src/usr.sbin/wpa/hostapd.
