 Subject:  dnswatch commit
 Date:  Sat, 15 Dec 2007 13:56:44 -0500
Hi all,

I'm curious about the dnswatch added in the commit earlier today. All
that was mentioned is:
"dnswatch is a small helper written in C that resolves the host names
at regular intervals."

It seems there have been several reports of DNS dying lately, and it's
been reported to me on one of my installs (out of several dozen) in
the field, but they power cycled the box before I could confirm what
actually happened (I'm not sure that's really what happened).

Is this related to that, or what is its function?

cheers,
-Chris
