For the record, if your clients point there DNS servers at your DNS
server, you can still have internal resolution work correctly. That all
said, I agree that it would be damned handy to have. However, there are
a lot of other things I need more, and my time is limited. It is more
efficient for me to enable the workaround and develop other stuff, than
to try and figure out how to enable this. (And it is slightly out of my
field as well) This is the problem with community software. Desire
does not always translate to result. As a very painful example, check
