Building a dev environment

Well, I dug out my old VMDE and tried to run it, but it will no longer 
boot in modern emulators...  So I was going to make a new one, and 
FreeBSD 6 is gone from the servers.

But is that what it is based on?

So, what image is the current release of m0n0wall based on?  (And beta) 
  And where can I get it if not ftp.freebsd.org?
