That's kinda cool. The only thing that scares me is the unreliability of
ZIP media, but I guess that's overcome by just keeping several copies around
and routine network backups of the config.
Slick idea!

Subject: [m0n0wall-dev] m0n0wall on a zip drive
Hi,
I spent the day trying to figure out how to boot m0n0wall from a zip drive
(IDE). After some quirks with the motherboard (refused to boot from the zip
drive) I discovered the only things missing in the current
m0n0wall-distribution are the /dev-entries, which I added with the standard
FreeBSD MAKEDEV script (MAKEDEV afd0).
I would appreciate adding these /dev-entries to the default generic-pc.img
;-)
thanks,
Florian
