Hi guys
I need to make a kernel for a new embedded system board that I am trying out.
I have the patches from the m0n0 site, but there are two lots there. Is it
safe to assume that the ones marked as *410.tgz are the ones used in the 1.1
kernels?
I assume the later is for the 1.2beta builds?
Also, which version of ipf should I be using?
This may seem a daft question from me, but in fact I have never had to change
the kernels in the past with the Soekris kit I normally use. The new boards
are VIA C3 based using Realtek NIC's - the kernel from the generic-pc build
works OK (after some fun with the console) but it is a bit fat and I am
using 35% of my 64Mb memory just loading the system so I need to do some
trimming.
Cheers
Peter
