Subject:  Maybe FreeBSD bug in m0n0wall
 Date:  Wed, 16 Mar 2005 20:59:00 +0100

I have a problem with a firewall machine (i386) which came with 1GB of memory
(The hardware cannot be purchased without less memory).

I am trying to run m0n0wall 1.2b6 but when it comes to the detection of the
floppy drive then it say dmainit(2,40960) and when it tries to read the floppy
disk the BSD kernel Panics and reboot.

If you take the floppy disk away then it the FW will boot.

I have look at the bug tracking on the FreeBSD website and found the it has
problem with machine thats have more then 512MB.

I think Tor Egge has giving them a solution to the problem but is seems that the
have never fixed it.
