I don't think so, but can't really debar it. It's definitly needed on
networks where the IP is not routed to your firewall as Michael stated
(the usual case when getting an /29 or greater).

Despite of this, the needed code for an "auto add proxy ARP" checkbox is
almost finished by me. I'll post it here and to Manuel after some tests.
