In that case I prefer to spend my time on getting 1.2b7 to work on 4.11, 
so that I can use the traffic shaper in bridging mode.
However, I am inexperienced in this and can't yet estimate the effort 
required for "back-porting" rootfs-1.2b7 to 4.11.

Is such a back-port hard / time-consuming, or rather straight forward? 
Or shall I rather wait for the next beta release, and spend my time 
better on adding other features to m0n0wall, such as refining TransProxy?
