Subject:  RE: [m0n0wall-dev] HTTPS captive portal redirect problem

Never mind. I played with the other settings like logout popup and redirect URL and now it works.
I have the same settings as I did before but the act of changing them to something and then back
again seems to have fixed my problem. I should have tried changing something other than HTTPS mode
before I posted.

I'm using 1.2b8 and have found a problem with the captive portal login in HTTPS mode. The page that
is responsible for the displaying the logout button window and redirection is not being generated
correctly after selecting HTTPS mode. The redirect URL is only being half adjusted for HTTPS mode.
The port number is changed to 8001 but the protocol is still set to HTTP. This causes the
redirection to fail with a page not found error in IE or just a blank page in Firefox. On a
positive note, the logout button is working again.

Is there a quick way to fix this? If someone could point me to the file with the offending code,
I'd try to fix it myself and post a patch. Where should the redirect request be going? HTTP/8000
or HTTPS/8001?
