Today we tried to get OpenVPN working (on the last release b10) but we
found possibly two bugs and we couldn't get the routing right.
- first the name of the interface for OpenVPN (opt1) isn't stored when
I've changed the settings of OpenVPN-config.
- second the password of the private key file is lost when I've commited
changes of the OpenVPN-config. I have to reboot m0n0 and fill it in
But the main issue of this mail is that the clients don't recieve a
routing record. In the Road warrior scenario
there is in the section about the client push commands an item called
"Route" this should be enabled, but in this release no checkbox can be
found to enable it and the record isn't sent by default. How can we make
the client routing set up right automaticly?
All this sound like a lot of complaints, but actually we really like the
new OpenVPN addition to the firewall (which we loved already because of
the IPSec functionality).
