Have a look at the traffic shaper rules - on my m0n0wall the magic shaper
takes the BitTorrent range to be 6881-6999, which unfortunately encompasses
the MSN file transfer range.
Since BitTorrent only usually uses 6881-6889 I've reduced the port range
that I'm traffic shaping for accordingly. Might be worth doing the same.
