I am attempting to set up a PPTP connection from my Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) system to my m0n0wall 1.1 firewall. I have configured m0n0wall identically to the instructions in the PPTP section of the m0n0wall docs, <http://www.m0n0.ch/wall/docbook/pptp.html>. The Mac OS X client is even simpler to configure than the XP client used in the docs. When I attempt to connect, using the VPN panel of the Internet Connection application in Mac OS X 10.3, the connection appears to authenticate successfully, and then immediately fail. Here's the Internet Connection log (which includes bringing my PPP modem connection up, then attempting PPTP): Tue Oct 19 22:47:55 2004 : Version 2.0 Tue Oct 19 22:47:56 2004 : Dialing 240-9004 Tue Oct 19 22:48:18 2004 : Modem Reliable Link Established. Help appreciated, I'm hoping to use this during my vacation starting this Saturday! Thanks! Michael -- _____________________________________________________________ Michael A.
