I am having a problem getting my WinXP PC to connect to MonoWall v1.2 B2 using PPTP. When I try to connect it tries for about 1 second and then comes back and says "Error 800: Unable to establish the VPN connection". I tried doing a packet capture to see what is happening and here it is: Source Destination Protocol Info PC Firewall TCP 1402 > pptp [SYN] Seq=0 Ack=0 Win=65535 Len=0 MSS=1460 Firewall PC TCP pptp > 1402 [RST, ACK] Seq=0 Ack=0 Win=0 Len=0 PC Firewall TCP 1402 > pptp [SYN] Seq=0 Ack=0 Win=65535 Len=0 MSS=1460 Firewall PC TCP pptp > 1402 [RST, ACK] Seq=0 Ack=1 Win=0 Len=0 PC Firewall TCP 1402 > pptp [SYN] Seq=0 Ack=0 Win=65535 Len=0 MSS=1460 Firewall PC TCP pptp > 1402 [RST, ACK] Seq=0 Ack=1 Win=0 Len=0 The firewall keeps sending RST packets, and I'm not sure if that's normal or not. I can't telnet to port 1723 (TCP) on the MonoWall box either, which I'm sure I should be able to do. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jon |
