 Subject:  VPN or IPsec tunnel?
 Date:  Sun, 31 Oct 2004 17:47:37 -0500 (EST)
Greetings,

I have 2 m0n0wall's running 1.2b2,
both on the Internet,
and I would like to build a tunnel between them
so that I can ping from one LAN to the other,
and to OPT1, etc.

eg,

m0n0-126
WAN 216.x.y.z
LAN 10.248.126.1/24
WLAN 10.248.127.1/24

m0n0-56
WAN 64.x.y.z
LAN 10.248.56.1/24
WLAN 10.248.27.1

I have a user at 10.248.57.78 who VPN's into LAN 10.248.56
I would like a monitoring system on 10.248.126.xyz
to be able to routinely ping
10.248.57.2 (WLAN bridge), 10.248.57.78, 10.248.56.78
and I want m0n0 to do the glue, it's one reason
for unique addressing on this network.

Thanks
Seth

The hope is to isolate a report that I got from
an end user that "It goes down all the time".
I doubt the ISP is that bad...and I know m0n0 stays up...

The only real common denominatore is that every time he tries,
he's using the same eXtortionist Program.
