Sorry for my bad english. Below i ask in German.

I have a Compaq PC for M0n0wall 1.2b2. It has an onboard TI Thunderlan
10/100 NIC and a second Thunderlan 10/100 NIC in a PCI slot. With
M0n0wall the NIC Cards dont work. Form M0n0wall Console i cant ping to
my lan. When i install Freebsd the NICs works fine. What is the
Problem?

An other problem is that the HDD not shut down after 1 minute that i
have configured on the webgui. The hdd shutdown, when i do the
configuration at runtime agin on the WebGui.


Ich habe einen Compaq PC für M0n0wall 1.2b2 der eine Onboard NIC mit TI
Thunderlan Chip hat, sowie eine weitere mit TI Chip im PCI Slot. Die
Netzwerkkarten wollen mit M0n0wall nicht arbeiten. Ich komme nicht auf
die WebGUI und Ping von M0n0wall ins LAN funktioniert nicht. Ich habe
Freebsd direkt auf der Maschine installiert und hier funktionieren die
Netzwerkkarten einwandfrei. Wo liegt das Problem?

Das zweite Problem ist, das die HDD im Rechner nach dem starten von
M0n0wall nicht abgeschaltet wird, nach einer Minute. Erst wenn ich die
shutdown Konfiguration nochmals ändere, schaltet die HDD nach der
eingestellten Zeit ab.
