So long as you checked "Enable syslog'ing to remote syslog server", filled in the correct IP address, and checked at least one box beneath that. Run Ethereal on the 2K box to see if it's getting any packets src m0n0wall LAN IP, dst 514 UDP. This will tell you if the source of the problem is your m0n0wall or Kiwi.
