I don't think that should be any problem, i installed it, and what i 
believed is that it just keeps alive, i realized, that one of my internet 
links went down for about 12 hours, and when the modem was resetted, my VPN 
was brought backup with out any problem, so i believe, it keeps a constant 
check to keep the ipsec tunnel alive.
