Hi List, I am having a hard time trying to set up a IPSec VPN Tunnel between a m0n0wall System with a static IP and an Linksys Router BEFVP41 with built in IPSec Support (Real Support not pass thru) with a dynamic IP. LinkSys 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0 (Dynamic IP) -> m0n0wall (Static IP) 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0 Now : 1) Does anyone have this kind of Setup working (is it possible)? 2) What do I have to do on the m0n0 wall. I tried setting up a tunnel, but m0n0wall needs a ip adress of the remote gateway and that IP will change every 24 hours so no use doing that. 3) I set up the mobile clients settings in m0n0wall as described in the FAQ, but when I try to create a tunnel from the LinkSys it can not connect and on the m0n0wall I get the following errors: Nov 29 16:20:00 racoon: INFO: isakmp.c:1368:isakmp_open(): 10.0.0.252[500] used as isakmp port (fd=10) Nov 29 16:20:00 racoon: INFO: isakmp.c:1368:isakmp_open(): 194.25.116.182[500] used as isakmp port (fd=9) Nov 29 16:20:00 racoon: INFO: isakmp.c:1368:isakmp_open(): 217.6.73.190[500] used as isakmp port (fd=8) Nov 29 16:20:00 racoon: INFO: isakmp.c:1368:isakmp_open(): 127.0.0.1[500] used as isakmp port (fd=7) Nov 29 16:20:00 racoon: INFO: main.c:175:main(): @(#)This product linked OpenSSL 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004 (http://www.openssl.org/) Nov 29 16:20:00 racoon: INFO: main.c:174:main(): @(#)internal version 20001216 sakane at kame dot net Nov 29 16:20:00 racoon: INFO: main.c:172:main(): @(#)package version freebsd-20040617a Nov 29 16:19:59 racoon: INFO: session.c:180:close_session(): racoon shutdown Nov 29 16:19:58 racoon: INFO: session.c:299:check_sigreq(): caught signal 15 Now I am a total newbie to IPSec / VPN. I read thru the FAQ as well as searched the mailinglist, but found now answers. Any help would be appreciated. TIA Patrick W. Fraley |
