Politely - asking Manuel to commit to a release date is the first step on
the path to a crap release.  Remember windows ME?  MS promised a new windows
OS by a certain date... Win2k wasn't going to make it, so they had to
release some abortion to appease the public.

The new beta tends to be between 4 and 16 weeks in the making from memory.

Also, what's expected in this Beta
probably if such an anouncement is made, lots of folks won't be posting 
asking for this and for that, cause maybe it might be on the list already...

The ToDo, only list that it's to be done, but doesn't clearly state which 
version it would be in.
