I made a little perl script to pull things down from a m0n0wall via /exe.php.

http://www.unixjunkie.com/m0n0cli/

This gives you the ability to run just about any command on the remote firewall
via http/https as if you had shell access.
FYI user/passwords are stored clear text atm. so keep the perms 700.

example

# ./m0n0cli.pl "ipfstat -s"
IP states added:
        134 TCP
        430 UDP
        5 ICMP
        64317 hits
        49205 misses
        0 maximum
        0 no memory
        35 bkts in use
        0 logged
        0 log failures
        35 active
        434 expired
        100 closed
