I have a Packard Bell Legend 486DX-25 w/ 24MB RAM and 2 ISA NICs running
LEAF Bering firewall. It can go past full T1 speeds with no problems. And
it runs just off the single floppy disk. You can run it in filtered
transparent bridge mode as well (without needing a 3rd NIC). However, it
has no web interface and is not the easiest to set up with extra features
such as IPSEC tunneling and such.

m0n0wall is kickass. P120 with 48 megs of ram and it runs perfectly.
Clarkconnect used to crawl on that machine but m0n0 only uses 40% of the
ram. It's too bad I couldn't get the CD Boot working and had to use a HD
image but it still works good.

I also like the fact that if I get another machine for it that I can just
transfer the config.

You laughed at my packard bell. As long as I clean it every so often it
runs good.
