I know there's gotta be something to it because my lockups that occurred
with 1.2b3 went away immediately with the reflash to 1.2b2.

I still need to try the suggestion you made to turn the TTL back down on a
certain connection, can't remember what you said, but I'll look it up.

Not really, but at least one person reported that 1.2b2 works while
1.2b3 locks up. I can't think of any change between 1.2b2 and 1.2b3
that would cause this, but maybe you could try 1.2b2 too just to see
if there's indeed something to it.
