 Subject:  WAN Interface for soekris net4521 setup problem

My network consists of a cable modem connected to a
switch/router which is connected to a PC and two
ethernet ports of the soekris net4521 board.

[cable modem]
     |
     |
{4 port switch/router}
DHCP
LAN-IP: 192.168.2.1 --- [PC] 192.168.2.112
                    |
                    |    soekris net4521
		    |--- sis0  192.168.2.100
                    |
                    |--- sis1  192.168.2.101

My PC can ping LAN sis0 192.168.2.100 but not WAN sis1
192.168.2.101.
Why?

I set up LAN IP address for soekris net4521 for
192.168.2.100 with console setup.


I use webGUI http://192.168.2.100 to setup sis1:
Interfaces: WAN
Type: 	Static

I tried 4 times but PC still cannot ping it:
Static IP configuration
IP address 	192.168.2.101/23
Gateway 	0.0.0.0
IP address 	192.168.2.101/24
Gateway 	0.0.0.0
IP address 	192.168.2.101/23
Gateway 	192.168.2.1
IP address 	192.168.2.101/24
Gateway 	192.168.2.1
