Question: Can monowall act as a pptp client across an internet
connection to another monowall that is acting as a pptp server?
The goal is to
establish a lan-to-lan tunnel between two monowalls having dynamic addresses. I would of course
prefer to use ipsec, but monowall requires at least one endpoint to have a static ip, right?
The monowall that
would act as the pptp client will be connected to the
internet via a cable modem.
The monowall pptp server is in place and works fine. Windows vpn clients
are configured to connect to <name>.dyndns.tld and can connect with no
problems.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
PS: the reason for wanting a lan-to-lan tunnel is to set static routing
on the monowall gateway instead of at the windows clients. |
