Number of Ethernet Interfaces

I wonder if anyone can tell me how many Ethernet interfaces m0n0wall will
support? ..

I have two onboard and one Soekris Lan1641 card which gives me a total of 6
interfaces on one box.

However one of the Ethernet interfaces on the Lan1641 card shows as follows
"MAC address ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff" which makes me think its dead.

Any ideas?
