How about:
"Hosts" Or "Host Aliases"

Perhaps it could even be stored as /etc/hosts and parsed from there...
this would kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Of course I'm sure someone would
complain that they did not want these "aliases" to affect name
resolution... but for most I think it would be an added benefit.

Thoughts?

And don't read what's right there on the page, much less RTFM...  

I would agree that the terminology is confusing though.  I've heard
this complaint more than once.  James had some good suggestions.

I'm personally in favor of changing it, though I'm not sure what the
best thing to change it to would be.
