3com network supervisor does a lot of this kind of stuff ... not sure if
its free any more, used to be a free download, and is not limited to
3com switches, it seemed even to navigate its way easily around full
layer 3 networks as well ...

A fairly useful product to have in your toolkit

Subject: [m0n0wall] a software to check my network???

Anyone know any windows based software which can help me to test my
network to make sure all my hubs, routers, switches, cables and computer
are not causing and network issues?

I really appreciate any thought on this.
