Mike Check out http://www.ixiacom.com/products/performance_applications/pa_display.php?skey= pa_q_check OR http://www.tomsnetworking.com/Sections-article20.php Or just Google 'qcheck'. You install endpoint clients on your PCs and then from the 'console' you run performance tests between endpoint. I have used QChecks big brother 'Chariot' (which is not free) to diagnose endpoint issues across wireless and Gbit networks.
