Or if you are really that worried about it, copy the disk or make a backup of the config, just in
case.  If it does bork your config (highly unlikely), just swap out the floppy or restore the
backup.

It'll use your existing config no problem.  If you have problems, pop
your old CD back in and reboot and you're back on the original
version.
