FIltering traffic coming from a IPsec tunnel?

Is it possible to filter the traffic from an IPsec tunnel? I have a
net <> net VPN connection,
but i don't want the other side to have access to my local network. I would like
to have access to the complete NET on the other side.

I tried using a filter on the WAN side and one the LAN side, but
neither seem to work.
